Our mission is to promote the development of Finnish innovation and invention

This means understanding the introduction of new ideas, methods and products. Together with our partners and experts, our role is to assist inventors to reach their goals and become more successful. We screen inventions and innovative business ideas with the assistance of private experts or start-up enterprises.

Keksintösäätiö (The Foundation for Finnish Inventions) has a long tradition of supporting innovation in Finland. Established in 1971, Keksintösäätiö was founded after a significant donation was made in 1957 by Maili Autio to Suomen Kulttuurirahaston Keksintötoimisto (Culture Fund). Since our inception, we provide guidance for inventors and innovators and assist them to protect their interests. Keksintösäätiö plays a key role in the development of National invention and innovation infrastructure.

New inventions have the potential to revolutionize all sectors of society and to make our world a better and more sustainable environment in which to live. Our aim is to add value and a fresh approach to the innovation process and to provide new employment and income opportunities not only for ourselves, but also for generations to follow.
